CR 385 : Step by Step-How To Pray The Rosary

Cieloscent Rosary a place to nourish the mind, body and soul.

Show summary:  For complete message listen to show.

A new show topic introduced every Sunday.

The rosary is a devotion in honor of the Virgin Mary. It consists of a set number of specific prayers. It truly is a loving and special gift when one receives a blessed Rosary.  Each time that I pray the Rosary I feel immediate peace and comfort.   The word Rosary means, “Crown of roses” because the rose is recognized as the queen of all flowers making the rosary  very important among all of our prayers.  Each Hail Mary is like giving our blessed mother one rose at a time. The beads helps us to keep on track with our meditation.  The Rosary Beads help us to remain focused so that we may concentrate on the mysteries.

How do we begin:

Make the sign of the cross-In the name of the father son and the holy spirit. Amen.

1.  Recite The Apostles Creed– Gives a summary of the great mysteries of our Catholic Faith.

2.  The Our Father- (Large Bead)   Introduces each mystery

3.  Hail Mary– (3) smaller beads- For the Virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity followed by  one Glory be-

1.   Place your Rosary cross in your hand and say: In the name of the father, son and the holy spirit while making the sign of the cross.\

2.  The Apostles Creed.

3.  One the first large bead recite the Our Father prayer.

4.  The next three small beads recite a Hail Mary for each bead.  You say this for an increase of faith, hope and charity.

5.  The next large Bead:   Glory Be To The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit . It is on this bead that you will meditate upon the first mystery. Recite the Our Father on this same large bead.

6.  The next ten small beads recite a Hail Mary for each bead while meditating upon the mystery.

7.  The next large bead recite the Glory Be to the Father.  Optional: The Fatima prayer.

8.  After meditating upon the fifth mystery, recite One more Our Father, Ten Hail Marys, Glory be to the Father and the Fatima prayer. Conclude with Hail, Holy  Queen prayer.

Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

     Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and  life  ever lasting.    AMEN

Our Father

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy! Our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Optional Prayers:

Fatima Prayer

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are in most need of thy mercy. Amen.

Let Us Pray

O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of everlasting life, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen

Anyone can say the rosary, and you don’t have to be catholic.  The Rosary is a form of prayer—it is a meditative prayer

The rosary is a devotion in honor of the Virgin Mary. It consists of a set number of specific prayers.

Prayer of a Rosary Maker
Thank you loving Mother for this precious gift, the rosary.
Guide my hands and my heart as I fashion these beads to be used in your honor to praise thy Son. Let each bead be filled with love and patience; let love pass through my fingers to unknown hands; and let patience prevail where prayers may seem unanswered. Teach me that I do this task only through the merits of your divine Son, for without him I can accomplish nothing. Let my numbers be known only to you and to Him. I offer this for the greater glory of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

CR 384 : Are Angels Real?

Cieloscent Rosary a place to nourish the mind, body and soul.

Show summary:  For complete message listen to show.

“Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life.”

St. Basil the Great-

Yes! Angels do 100% exist! Good and bad angels.  Most people view angels on a whole as all being of good nature  but this is not the case at all.  It’s nice to look at all the pictures with our beautiful angels with wings  but in “real” life our angels are bodiless.  Our angels are an immortal  energy.  Angels are intelligent and have their own personality and we have all been assigned our very own angel.  You would think that God’s angels would choose to serve him and most do BUT some choose to follow a negative  path.  These angels are known as fallen angels.  Angels and human beings are not the same so when we die we do not become angels in heaven.  We are a spirit/body and angels are completely  purely spirit.  When we ask our angels to help with a particular situation we give them permission to intercede on our behalf and to protect us. Thank you for joining me. i pray that this message has been a blessing to you. Many Blessings.

CR 383 : Hail Mary

Cieloscent Rosary a place to nourish the mind, body and soul.

” Continue to pray the Rosary everyday.” Our Lady Of Fatima to Lucia.  When we pray the Rosary we say the Hail Mary/Ave Maria 53 times.  Each Hail Mary prayed with focus and love is like giving our blessed Mother a rose.   Concentrate on the words each time you pray the Rosary.  One Hail Mary  said with thought and love is powerful because it immediately brings our blessed Mother to our side. .  You invite blessings into your life because our Lady finds great joy in feeling your prayer.  Our heavenly Mother knows that with each Hail Mary we grow closer to her son, Jesus.  In our last podcast we spoke about, “How to pray” and praying he Rosary will further open your heart.

“The greatest method of praying is to pray the Rosary.” St. Francis de Sales.

“Never will anyone who says his rosary everyday be led astray. This is a statement that I would gladly sign with my blood. ” St. Louis de Montfort.

CR 381 : The Finder Of Lost Items.

Cieloscent Rosary a place to nourish the mind, body and soul. Check out our other rooms (see links above) of empowerment.

How did sweet Saint Anthony become the Finder of lost items? Saint Anthony was an incredible preacher and teacher. Saint Anthony wrote all of his thoughts, messages and lessons and in those days.  They didn’t have the printing ability to duplicate any writings which made the original document  far more valuable. One day a young man stole one of his manuscripts to sell.  Saint Anthony prayed for the safe return of his manuscript.  The man who took the manuscript claimed to be prompted to return manuscript by a fearful vision.  He returned the manuscript to Saint Anthony and from then on was known as finder of lost items.  Saint Anthony was lost at times himself and he  wanted to be a better person. Saint Anthony carries in his arms the child Jesus which  serves as a reminder that we too carry Jesus in our hearts.  Saint Anthony also carries a Lily which  represents purity and this should remind us to be child-like in the presence of God.

Lets us pray together

Dear Saint Anthony, your prayers obtained miracles during your lifetime. You still seem to move at ease in the realm of minor and major miracles. Saint Anthony, performer of Miracles, please obtain for me the blessings God holds in reserve for those who serve him. Pray that I may be worthy of the promises my Lord Jesus attaches to confident prayer.

Please mention your special intentions here.

Thank you for joining me today.
